Our biggest room has a double bed and a separate bed which can also become a double bed, so the room can accommodate four people with all conveniences. Granny’s Room is perfect for a family or for a group of four, since it has its own fully equipped bathroom.

Granny’s Room is here to remind us of the importance of ‘kumica’ – peasant women who sell their crops and products on the city’s markets. These women have been daily commuting from the countryside to the city’s central marketplace Dolac, carrying their big baskets full of homegrown fruits and vegetables, cheese and sour cream, eggs, gibanica (a traditional studel), štrukli (a traditional cottage cheese pastry), flowers etc. … These diligent women still feed the residents of Zagreb, and for that they got a monument of a woman in a national costume at the top of the Dolac staircase.

Situated in a family apartment in the old town center, Studio Kairos offers the intimacy of private accommodation together with the quality of a premium hotel service. Apart from BB (bed and breakfast), we also offer a full board and a lot of other offers tailored to your needs. In case you need to copy or print out a document, you are welcome to use our ‘office package’. Also if you’ve been traveling for a while and didn’t have an opportunity to wash your clotes, we offer you our laundry service. Furthermore, there is also ironing service done by our housekeeper, our good auntie Mira.

The Studio is fully renewed and carefully designed, with air conditioning, cable TV, and Internet access in every room. All rooms have digital locks for easier access and maximal security. Each room has its own bathroom with hair dryer and soft towels, and you can also use our library in the living room while, for instance, relaxing from a long day and enjoying a glass of fine vine. Each room has its own story, so you can choose the Writers’ Room, Crafts Room, Granny’s Room or the Music Room. All of them were uniquely designed to draw your attention to the most interesting parts of our city, its residents, gastronomy and fascinating history.
